    ... educated in the Public Schools and at Anne Arundel Academy. He was a member of St. Stephen's Church, and of its Choir. Like his brother Thomas William, he was a student of church history. He was also interested in sociological problems and was the author of numerous, but unpublished manuscripts on that and kindred subjects, among them a novel dealing with the sweatshop evil.
