... was educated at Anne Arundel Academy, and Maryland Agricultural College, and for several years after graduating he taught school. For many years, until his death, he was one of the most useful and devoted trustees of Anne Arundel Academy. He was a Vestryman of St. Stephen's Church and a prominent citizen of the community in which he lived. He inherited and resided at "White Hall."
