Partial Will Abstract

5 Sept. 1803: Will of Frances Miskelly proven in court. The following bequests were made to Jean and Thomas Garvin and their surviving children.
.... I give to my mother, Jean Miskelly 100 acres of land which was bequeathed to me by my father which land I allow to be used to the benefit of my said mother during her natural life and after her decease, my will is that the said land be equally divided amongst my brother in law Thomas Garvin's then surviving children; one third or my bequeathed part of the dresser furniture and after her decease to be given to my sister Jean Garvin, also my part of the flax and cotton to my said mother, after my mother's decease the part of the negroes bequeathed to me by my father to my sister Jean Garvin's then surviving children; to my sister a petticoat pattern of black colemanco and the remainder of my wearing apparel to my said sister's female children.
