She was born in Holland Patent, N.Y., and came here in 1991 from Barneveld, N.Y. She worked as a secretary for Hollins College, Hollins, Va. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Palms, Palm Harbor, the Opportunity Circle of the Moravian Church, Utica, N.Y., and Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include a daughter, Joan Grogan, Palm Harbor; two sisters, Alice Williams, Port St. Lucie, and Ruth Hawley, San Diego; four grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.
