St. Petersburg Times, 30 Mar 2001: GATES, FRANCES C., 88, of Palm Harbor, died Wednesday (March 28, 2001) at Mease Countryside Hospital, Safety Harbor. She was born in Holland Patent, N.Y., and came here in 1991 from Barneveld, N.Y. She worked as a secretary for Hollins College, Hollins, Va. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Palms, Palm Harbor, the Opportunity Circle of the Moravian Church, Utica, N.Y., and Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include a daughter, Joan Grogan, Palm Harbor; two sisters, Alice Williams, Port St. Lucie, and Ruth Hawley, San Diego; four grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. Moss-Feaster Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Palm Harbor Chapel.
