DEATH: THE CHRONICLE, week ending Friday, September 28, 1900 MRS. FREMONT KNIGHT DEAD (MRS. FANNIE BARD KNIGHT)

Mrs. FANNIE BARD KNIGHT died at her home in Waukegan, Ill. last Tuesday evening at the age of 46 years. She has been ill for some time, having been in California about a year in hopes of there finding relief. She was disappointed in this and about four months ago returned to Waukegan. Since then she gradually failed, her death resulting as stated.

Mrs. KNIGHT was born in Franklinville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. P. BARD. She was married about 25 years ago to Dr. Fremont C. KNIGHT, then a young physician in Arcade. She lived at Arcade for awhile, later moving west and locating at Libertyville, Ill. where she resided for some years. About five years ago she with her husband moved to Waukegan.

Mrs. BARD was a woman of many fine qualities, highly educated, and a leader among her associates. She was also a great worker in the church. Buried Libertyville. Deceased a sister of Alf H. BARD and a niece of Mrs. Maryette WOODWORTH.
