Flossie and her husband, Gus, operated the Puritan Cafe in Seymour from 1941 to 1946. They owned and operated Wille's Food Shop on Fifth Street in Columbus, IN from 1949 to 1965.

The Reverend Dale Trimberger conducted the funeral services at 11:00 a.m. on March 30, 2000. Gravesite rights were held at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown, IN.
