Mrs. Florence McClain, 91, formerly of Rt. 6, Cridersville, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday in Allen Inn.
She was born March 30, 1883, in Perry Township, the daughter of John and Sadie Severns. She was married Sept. 1, 1900, to George McClain. He died in 1973.
Surviving are five sons, Waldo of 2192 E. 4th, Walter of 898 Western Ohio, Roy of San Mateo, Calif., Edward of Melbourne, Fla., and Bernard of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Mrs. Welby (Mary) Widener of 1427 Edgemont Dr.; 15 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roser Severns and two sisters, Mrs. Frances Leatherman and Mrs. Velma Hardin, all of Rt. 6, Cridersville.
She was a member of Garfield Chapel Church, Perry Center Grange and Perry Center Community Club.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Bayliff Funeral Home, Cridersville, Rev. E. J. Penhorwood officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Persons wishing may make memorial contributions to Allen Inn.
Friends may call at the funeral home until time of services.
