Florence Groff was a graduate of the School of Oriental languages in Paris. The Talbot family history refers to her as a “noted writer who wrote a “Guide to Cairo and Catalogues of Egyptian and Arab Antiquities”. In the early 1900’s she was living in Mobile, Alabama.
