  5. Three different sources says Flavia's name is Flavia Colton Wolcott (Source:Griffen, Robert C. Wolcott Genealogy, p. 256; Source:Rudd, Alice Böhmer. Wolcott Genealogy, p. 149; Source:Proceedings at the Centennial Celebration of the Incorporation of the Town of Longmeadow, October 17th, 1883, p. 95). The use of a middle initial C is only found in secondary sources, and the birth record for one child (Flavia Elizabeth). No birth record or marriage record is found, but the census for 1855, and for 1880, and the death record in 1897 all use a middle initial of F. Other records that have been located don't show a middle initial, including the gravestone. (Death records for two possible sons named Charles are split, one using C, one using F, but are still being investigated due to overlapping lifetimes.) So the accuracy of this information is somewhat questionable...
