Mrs. Faye Reigle, 51, of Rt. 2, Scio, died Saturday in St. John Medical Center at Steubenville after a four-week illness. Born July 22, 1922, in Harrison County, a daughter of James and Mary (Stephens) Mattern, she was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Kilgore.
Survivors include her husband, Emmett Riegle; her father, James Mattern of Carrollton; a daughter, Mrs. Allen (Mary) Scott of Kilgore; two brothers, James L. Mattern of Antwerp and Donald Mattern of Richmond; five sisters, Mrs. Theodore (Jessie) Newberry of Cape Canaveral, Florida; Mrs. Lloyd (Elaine) Moyer of Camp Springs, Maryland, Mrs. Curtis (Pearl) Shawver of Rt. 2, Scio, Mrs. Albert (Mae) Patton of Amsterdam and Mrs. John (Maxine) Collar of New Philadelphia, and one grandchild. Her mother preceded her in death in December 1969. Services were held Monday in the Sweeney Funeral Home at Carrollton with Rev. John Schleicher officiating. Burial was in Kilgore cemetery.
