A Fannie Shull married R. E. Blevins in Shelby County, Texas on 07 September 1911, recorded in volume 8 on p. 23. In the 1910 Shelby County Texas census Ermin Bliven, age 20 is enumerated in the household of William A. Bliven, age 52 and wife Lula Bliven age 44 with numerous siblings.

In the 1930 census Fannie Shull Carroll and Forest Eugene Carroll indicated that they were age 27 and 26 at the time of their first marriage. This indicates that neither of them were married before. Enumerated on the same page on White Street in the 1930 census is the household of William A. Blevins, age 71 and his wife Louise, age 64 and daughter Ona King and her children. These are the parents of Ermin Bliven in the 1910 census.

It is unknown whether or not Fannie Shull Carroll first married R. E. Blevins.
