Obituary

 MRS. JERRY WIARDA PASSED AWAY MONDAY.
 Mrs. Jerry Wiarda, 79 years old, life-long resident of Coopersville, died Monday at the Grand Haven Municipal Hospital after a short illness.
 Mrs. Wiarda, the former Fannnie Laug, was born at Coopersville April 18, 1974.  She attended the Coopersville school, and was united in marriage to Jerry Wiarda, November 15, 1905.  After Living in Grand Rapids for a very short time, they returned to Coopersville and since that time the couple have made their home here.
  She was a member of the Coopersville Reformed church and active in the women's groups.
 Besides her husband, she leaves a brother, George Laug of St. Petersburg, Fla., and a sister, Mrs. Lambert Leroy of Grand Rapids.
 Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 2 p.m., from the Throop Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Peter J. Muyskens officiating.  Burial was in the Coopersville cemetery.
