Pulaski Democrat, 13 Feb 1980: EVELYN F. HILTON, 54 Evelyn F. Hilton, age 54, of R.D. 4, Fulton, formerly of Richland, died Thursday, January 31, at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse where she had been a patient since January 9. Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 3, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Rev. Dolen Morris, pastor of the Park United Methodist Church officiating. Spring burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell. She is survived by her husband, Edward; one daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Joyce) Carr, Fulton; 3 sons, James E., Altmar, John T., Rome and Edward M. Hilton, Mexico; 10 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Weld of Caughdenoy, Mrs. Gladys Stevens of Richland; 4 brothers, William, Harry and Robert Martin of Richland and Edward Martin of Mattydale. She was born August 29, 1925, in Richland, the daughter of Edward and Hattie Bowers Martin. She attended Pulaski Academy School and was married to Edward A. Hilton, July 27, 1946 at Richland. They lived in Richland until 1960 and then moved to Fulton.
