Evelyn Elizabeth (Kiser) Sutton, 88, of Valdosta, died on Monday, June 5, 2017, at South Georgia Medical Center. Born in Madison, Florida on December 7, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Eugene Pasco Kiser and Annie Mae Barclay and widow of the late Thomas Julian Sutton, I. Mrs. Sutton was a member of Clyattville Baptist Church. She was an avid fan of television church sermons, she loved clothes, all things of the color green, and will be fondly remembered for her dry wit. Survivors are her sons, David (Martha) Sutton, Michael (Patti) Sutton of Valdosta; step children, Charlene and Paul Griffin and Doug Sutton; ten grandchildren and their spouses, twelve great grandchildren, twelve great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter and son-in-law Linda and Charles Dennis, nine brothers and sisters and their spouses and nine brothers in law and sisters in law. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Thomas Julian Sutton, II and Mr. Bruce Merriman officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Madison, Florida.
