Evelyn Marie (Creeger) Burns, 84, 319 Clinton Ave., died at 1:55 a.m. Mond ay, Aug. 16, 1999, in the Autumnwood Care Center, where she had resided si nce June 29, 1998,

She was born in Hopewell Twp Seneca CO March 7, 1915, to Ross and Susie (K ing) Creeger. Her husband, Kenneth Willard Burns, who she married Oct. 1 5, 1938, survives.

Survivors also include: a daughter, Beverly Ann (Burns) Frey McCallist er of Spencer; three grandchildren, Connie Christine Frey, Steven James Fr ey and Kelly Jo McCallister; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Orp hy Fraley of Tiffin.

Preceding her in death were five brothers, Merle, Howard, Ralph, Cliffo rd and Theodore Creeger; and two sisters, Helen Dunlap and Dorothy Ottney.

A homemaker, Mrs. Burns was a member of the First Christian Church and Eas tern Star Tiffin Chapter 189.

A lifetime Seneca CO resident, she was a 1933 graduate of Bloomville Hi gh School.

The Rev. David C Mills will conduct the 11 a.m. Wednesday service in the T urner-Engle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today and one hour before the service on Wednesd ay at the funeral home, where Eastern Star Tiffin Chapter 189 services wi ll be at 7:30 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to a charity; of the donor's choice.
