Burns, Kenneth Willard Whirlpool retiree

Kenneth Willard Burns, 87, 319 Clinton Ave, died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, De c. 10, 2000, in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Fostoria, where he had be en a resident for five months.

He was born April 28, 1913, in Seneca CO to Willard Stratton and Beulah M ae (Dunlap) Burns. On Oct. 15, 1938, in the Church of Christ in Tiffi n, he married Evelyn Marie Creeger, who died Aug. 16, 1999.

Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Wm (Beverly Ann) McCallister of Spence r; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jose ph Burns of Marion.

Also deceased are a brother, Eldon R Burns; and two sisters, Llavon B Lupt on and Dolly (Burns) Zimmerman.

Mr. Burns, who was educated in Tiffin and MI, retired from Whirlpool Corp.

He was a member of the First Christian Church, Tiffin Lodge Free and Accep ted Masons 77, Order Eastern Star Tiffin Chapter 189, Tiffin Lodge Servi ce 77 Free and Accepted Masons and Ancent Accepted Scottish Rite, Vall ey of Toledo.

The Rev. David Mills will be the officiant at the noon Wednesday servi ce in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and one hour before the service Wedne sday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Community Hospice and the Good Shepherd Home.
