There is no hard evidence of who Evaline's parents are, but it isbelieve that there is a strong possibility that she may be the sisterof Calvin Tandy, who would have been born in 1821; and one or both ofthem could be a child of Wesley Tandy (son of John Tandy and MaryRowland) who left Gallatin County, Kentucky in 1835 for JeffersonCounty, Iowa. This is believed to be her family considering thatEvaline was married in Jefferson County, Iowa just 4 years after thisfamily came to the same county.
