    p. 3: Brown-- A telegram was received here yesterday announcing the death of Mrs. George M. Brown, formerly Eva S. Whitman of Saginaw, who passed away Tuesday at the Pontiac State Hospital. The funeral will take place at Reed City this morning. She was the wife of George M. Brown, formerly chief enginer of the old F. & P.M. railwasy and who has been connected with the Pere Marquette for more than a quarter of a century. He remained in Saginaw until about 1900 when he went to Detroit where he is consulting engineer in the P. M. offices. Mrs. Brown was married in Saginaw where she was well known years ago.
