Anative of Steuben County, she was born April 8, 1878 to Peter and Susan(Bixler) Ritter and was married April 7, 1901 to Jacob (Doc) Henney, whodied in 1965. She lived in Kendallville about 60 years prior to movingto Calif. in 1965. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James Pharr, Stockton; three sons,Gordon, R. 2, Wolcottville, and C. S. and Felix, Stockton; a sister,Mrs. Carrie Wilkinson, 99, Kendallville; seven grandchildren; and threegreat-grandchildren. Funeral will be Thursday in Berhalter-HutchinsFuneral Home with Rev. James Burroughs officiating. Burial, Lake ViewCemetery"
