In 1860, Eva Bruntz is living with Frank Bruntz and five-year-old Mary in Hamilton County, OH. They were born in Bavaria, as were most of their neighbors, while Mary was born in Ohio. Frank is a laborer and Eva does housework.

In 1870, Eva Brunn is living with her four children, including 6-year-old Willie. The three younger children were born in Indiana. Her occupation is listed as washing.

In 1880, Eva is divorced and living with her three youngest children. She is reported as being born in Germany as were both of her parents.

Her obituary in the Wabash Plain Dealer was dated 22 July 1892. It noted that she was born in Germany in 1830 and married Conrad in Columbus, OH in 1854. She is buried at Falls Cemetery.
