  3. Source:Noyes, Sybil. Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire, Vol. 5, p. 610, says "Ano. dau. Eunice, b. 1722 (Anis by Wells rec.) m. in Ipsw. John Moulton (see 13) and soon d." It is not clear how this source was able to match a girl born as Anis to a woman named Eunice. However, when one looks at the original Wells record and realizes they misread what is intended to be "Unis" as "Anis". It is an understandable error as the written name looks more like Ami or Anis than it does like Unis because the elaborate curl on the U closes the top making it look like an A.
