    Eunice Pickering, d/o William Pickering, b. Warwick, MA, d. Turner, IL [footnote: "The date of her death is given as Feb. 9, 1877, by her son, Lorenzo D. Battles, and as March 1876, by her daughter, Mrs. Rufus Lame."]. Married 1819 David Battles her first husband, miller in Richmond until 1831, when he moved to Westmoreland where he died. Her second husband was Barnes Kuhn a physician.
