Eugene D. Witter was born in the town of Willing, N. Y., February 14, 1856, the son of Ira S. and Susan Witter. He was married to Waity A. Benjamin, October 10, 1878. He was baptized by Rev. L. E. Livermore and joined the Seventh Day Baptist Church and has ever been a faithful Christian. He joined the Petrolia Grange and was a faithful member of that body. He died June 4, 1935, aged seventh-nine years.
