When I was visitng Grandma Blaine in National City in 1948, Aunt Ethel felt sorry for me. She took me to their ranch in the San Diego mountains for a few days. Her old car started boiling over as there was a hole in the radiator. Aunt Ethel cracked a turkey egg into the radiator and it plugged the hole. I remember Uncle Pete was a grumpy old man.
