In Alfred, N. Y., Oct 1st, 1864, of an injury received by a fall from the loft in his barn, sept. 6th, Dea. Ethan Saunders, recently of Darien, Genesee Co., N. Y. He was in the 70th year of his age. Bro. Saunders, with his family, had recently changed their residence from Darien to Alfred, that they mighten joy greater Sabbath privileges. His last change, however, we trust, is one from earthly Sabbaths to the heavenly and eternal one. N.V.H.
