Buried Pinelawn Cemetary About 3 Yards From Lester Hoffmann
Was Catholic but switched to Presbyterian when Myrtle was born, due to priest telling him Myrtle would go to hell if he allowed Grandma Meister to baptize her Presbyterian. He said, "If that's the way you believe I will never come back." He didn't. Aunt Lil spoke of him sitting on the steps of the local Pentecostal church because he loved to listen to the music.
One source had him listed as Ross Erasmus Meister but is not confirmed. File # is 1903893 but from where?
Listed as single in 1880 census. Name was listed as Easmas The marriage record lists his name as Erastus Meister[ ]
