'Ephraim [Davis], who was left twenty shillings in the will of his uncle Thomas. And his father in his will of 1626 left him 12 pence.'
The author goes on to say that he was "probably" the Ephraim Davis who married Elizabeth Bills, the sister of Robert Bills. However, that Ephraim Davis was a citizen and resident of London, and the marriage took place in Kent. While it is possible that Ephraim left Acton Turville for London, there is no reason to assume they were the same person.
