They lived in KY until 1853, They moved to Morgan County, IN. Lived in a small log cabin by a stream called Jordan. The small valley was called cold spring hollow. All children except two spent their lives near Martinsville, IN.

Note: Some trees confuse him with an Enoch McDaniel who served in the American Civil War, who was born about 1842.
