    Mrs. Emma R. Andrews was born in Crawford County Pa, May 1, 1838 and died in Howard, Elk County Kansas, July 25, 1894.
    She was married to Amos Andrews in 1862.
    She removed from Pennsylvania to Illinois and from there to Elk County, where she has resided for the past eighteen years.
    Mrs. Andrews was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Howard.
    For the past few years she has been at times a great sufferer. She was patient amid all her distresses, manifesting a Christian spirit and often expressed a longing for the time of her departure.
    She leaves three sons and one daughter to mourn a mother's loss.
