Collins of this village His wife was the former Emma Robers [!] of Sylvan Beach, and was born April 25, 1879. COLLINS RITES TO BE WEDNESDAY North Bay-- Mrs. Emma Rogers Collins, 89, died yesterday at the home of her son, Walton W. Collins of E. Lake ST after a long illness. She was born April 23, 1879 in New York City, the daughter of Walton W. and Gertrude Bailey Rogers. Mrs. Collins was married to Walter A. Collins Aug. 28, 1904 in Oneida. They lived in Oneida for a short time before moving to Norwich. They had lived in North Bay since 1919 where her husband was in the construction and gravel business. Mrs. Collins was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Vienna. Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Sable Sr. of North Bay; three sons, Harold R., Walton W. and William A. Collins, all of North Bay; four sisters, Mrs. Orsen Meays of Sylvan Beach, Mrs. May Woglum of Oneida Castle, Mrs. Howard Topper of Florida and Mrs. Ralph Chilson of Sylvan Beach; a brother, William E. McClanathan of Sherrill; 13 grandchildren... Funeral services will be held... Wednesday. Burial will be in North Bay Cemetery in the spring. References
