Syracuse Herald Journal, 31 Aug 1955: TWO COUPLES FETED ON ANNIVERSARY North Bay-- A double anniversary celebration was observed in honor of the 51st year of marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Walter A. Collins of this village and of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sable, Jr., by their grandchildren who have completed their first years of marriage. Hosts were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sable Sr... Mr. Collins is a lifelong resident of North Bay, and is a retired farmer and gravel bed operator. He was born Aug. 15, 1979 [!] and is active in the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Vienna. His wife was the former Emma Robers [!] of Sylvan Beach, and was born April 25, 1879. The couple had four children, Harold, Walton and William Collins, and Mrs. Esther Sable, all of North Bay; also 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Four generations were represented... the youngest was six-week old Rena Marie Trexler.
