Facts and Events
Name Emily Jackson
Gender Female
Birth[1] Abt 1820 VA (prob West Virginia)

It is an ASSUMPTION that Emily is a sibling of Marshall and Oliver Jackson. There are only 4 entries for Jackson in the Fairmont District of Marion County in 1850. The Find-a-Grave memorial page for Marshall verifies that Marshall and Oliver are brothers. It is an easy assumption that these four entries are all one family: Samuel and Nancy the parents, and Marshall, Oliver and Emily the adult children. Samuel was born in Pennsylvania, Oliver's d/c said he was born in PA but that is an error. Possibly the informant was remembering that his father came from PA. An 1880 census record would be helpful if it can be found.
