Emily M Hirzel, 93, formerly of north Toledo, passed away Sunday, Decemb er 29, 2002, at Orchard Villa. Emily was born in Toledo on February 9, 190 9, to Emil and Emile (Zumbrunn) Hirzel. Emily worked for the form er A & P Market for 26 years as advertising manager, retiring in 1974. S he was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ. Emily was past presid ent of Beta Delta Chapter, Pi Omicron National Chapter, past president Tol edo Swiss Singers, a member of Toledo Swiss Ladies. Emily was preced ed in death by her parents, brothers, Emil and Edward. Surviving are her sisters, Katharine J Carr, Marie E Asta; brother-in-la w, Russell Carr; nieces, Elizabeth Novinsky, Barbara Carr, Kathy Carr, Mar ie Huhta, Barbara Pannequin, Joan Patchowsky, Jean Birkland, Barbara Hirze l; nephew, Emil A Hirzel. Visitation will be held at Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Rd Chapel, 4 40 S Coy Rd on Thursday from 2-9 p.m. and where her funeral service wi ll be held on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Lake Twp Cemeter y.
