Emil W Hirzel, 94, of Kokomo, IN, formerly of Marion, IN, died April 21, 2 002, at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Center. He was born July 8, 190 7, in Toledo OH, the son of Emil and Emilie (Zumbrunn) Hirzel. On July 2 8, 1940, in Toledo, he married Nellie B Betot, who preceded him in death S eptember, 1989. He is survived by daughter, Barbara Hirzel, Kokomo, IN; son, Emil A "Ton y" (Marilyn) Hirzel, Indianapolis, IN; two granddaughters; four great-gran dchildren; three sisters, Emily Hirzel of Oregon OH, Katherine (Russel l) Carr of Oregon OH, and Marie Asta of Everett, WA. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2002, at Egglest on-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Rd. Chapel, 440 S Coy Rd, Oregon OH, with t he Rev. Fr. Albert Ceranowski officiating. Burial will follow in Lake T wp Cemetery, Walbridge OH Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at t he funeral home.
