Miss Emelia Mostrom passed away last Thursday at the home her sister, Mrs. R. E. Knudtson, 7 miles SW of town, after an illness, which had extended over several years, although she had been confined to her bed only a few days. Miss Mostrom was only 27 years of age which makes her demise especially sad. She had lived in Worth County her entire life and was loved by many friends she had made by her pleasing ways. She was a member of the Elk Creek Church and for some time had been the organist.

The funeral was held at Elk Creek Church SW of town, Rev. T. Sigmond of Kensett, conducting the services, and internment was made in the Church cemetery. A large concourse of relatives and friends attended. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved ones in this sad hour.

Deceased leaves to mourn her passing, her mother, Mrs. Ellen Mostrom, who lives with her daughter on the old farm; two sisters, Miss Minnie and Mrs. R. E. Knudtson, living west of town and four brothers, Lewis, of Clay County, Minnesota; Andrew, SW of town; Albert, of Bristol township, and Carl of Northwood.
