The death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank McKim, March 3, and took for its own, their oldest son, Elmer, aged 17 years 10 months and 27 days, being sick only eight days of inflammation of the stomach.
Elmer was an obedient boy of the Christian Church of Huffman, of which he became a member in 1911, a more faithful and sincere Christian could not have been found. He was also a student of the Bristow High School this being his third year.
Leaving to mourn his sad departure, is a father, mother, four sisters, being: Mrs. Owen Smith, Mrs. Jacob Epple, Frances and Ella McKim and one brother, Delbert, also a host of friends and relatives. The remains were said to rest in the Huffman cemetery March 5th. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Albert Gruver.
