Mrs. Alta Alvina Epple, nee McKim, was born July 25th 1885 in Huffman, Perry County, and passed away Sunday evening November 2nd at 8:30 O'clock. She was united in Holy Wedlock September 15, 1905. Three years prior to this, she was received through Christian Baptism with the Church of Christ. Her marriage was blessed with five children all of whom who survive her.
Mrs. Epple had been in poor health for some years, especially the last two years it became more and more apparent that she could not survive her affliction. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Flora Smith, Miss Opal 19, and Bessie 15 and two sons, Vernard 17 and Herman 6. She is also survived by her mother, one brother, three sisters and one grandchild.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, services in charge of Rev. A.B. Meyer of this city. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery of Tell City.
