THE STATE JOURNAL, Lansing, MI. --- 1967 --- Obituary; (Pg. A-3) -------------------------------------- ARTICLE; GROH, Elmer I. FATALLY HURT AS CAR FALLS; --------------------- Sept.25,- Elmer I. Groh, 38 of 3111 Westmont Ave., died at his home about noon Sunday, after a car fell on him. He had been working on the car in the driveway of his home when the accident occured. A lifelong resident of Lansing, Mr. Groh was with Christman Construction Co., as an operating engineer and a member of the Operating Engineering Union Local 324. Surviving are his wife Carol S.; three sons, Gary, Michael and Ricky; a daughter linda and his mother Mrs. Ethel Groh, all of Lansing. Services will be at Este-Leadly Colonial Chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
