Ellen Grace Tilton was born on October 16, 1861 in Sanbornton, Belknap Co., New Hampshire. She died on January 14, 1925 in East Fairfield, Franklin Co., Vermont. She married Charles Harvey Crockett on December 16, 1884 in Sanbornton, Belknap Co., New Hampshire. (He was born on April 30, 1861 in Sanbornton, Belknap Co., New Hampshire and died on December 14, 1931 in Goffstown, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire. He is buried in the Park Cemetery, Tilton, Belknap Co., New Hampshire.) They had two children: Grace Adella Crockett (1886-1971) md. Clarence Richard Bachelder. Ellen Tilton Crockett (1901-1907) Ellen was educated at the Colby Academy in New London, New Hampshire. Afterwards and until her marriage, she became a public school teacher, mostly in Sanbornton. Beginning in 1895 and continuously since, she served on the Union District Graded School Board.
