    1. Ellen Jane Hollenback; Born June 15th, 1867, in Woodford County, Illinois. Married Francis Marion Layton, in Gage County, Nebraska, a farmer. Mr. Layton was born April 16th, 1864, at Decatur, Illinois. They settled near Odell, Nebraska, and later moved to Lincoln, Nebraska to educate their children. They then returned to Gage County, locating at Beatrice and Mr. Layton engaged in the real estate business. In 1917 he and the two sons went to Wyoming and filed on homesteads, and at this date, 1920, they are in that country."
