1895 - Marriage: On April 3, 1895, Ellen Durnin 27, spinster, married Daniel Fowler 32, Farmer, bachelor, in West Wawanosh Township. Both bride and groom were residents of West Wawanosh Township. In the marriage registration, her parents were listed as William and Maria Durnin. His parents were Thomas and Ann Fowler. Witnesses were John C Clark and her sister, Ann Jane Durnin, West Wawanosh Township. Source is their 1895 marriage registration, West Wawanosh, Huron County, Ontario #005325.

1944 - Death and Burial: Ellen Fowler 78, widowed, died on December 12, 1944 in Goderich Hospital, Goderich, Ontario. Her death registration said that she had resided at Lot 15, RR2 Ashfield Township, Huron County. Her death registration listed her parents as William Durnin and Maria Stewart.
