1882 - Marriage: On May 24, 1882, Charles Durnin 25, Farmer, bachelor, resident of West Wawanosh, married Eliza Jane Smyth (incorrectly spelled Smith) 23, spinster, resident of West Wawanosh, in Huron County, Ontario. The marriage registration listed his parents as William Durnin and Maria Durnin. Her parents were listed as William John Smith and Eliza Smith. Witnesses were Edward Durnin, West Wawanosh and Catherine Young, Colborne, Ontario. Source is their marriage registration, Huron County, Ontario.

1924 - Death and Burial: Charles S Durnin 68, Engineer, Machine shop, married, died on May 20, 1924 at Campbell St, Lucknow, Bruce County, Ontario.
