Elizabeth2 Wilder, apparently a daughter of the widow Martha1 Wilder of Hingham. Even though there is a gap in the list of their surviving children, it seems certain that Elizabeth (Wilder) was the widow Elizabeth who survived Thomas1 Ensign: John2 Ensign, who was born 1642, called her his "deare" mothr" in his will, and named her as one of his heirs and co-executor of his estate; and in 1665 she sued Thomas Summers for "inticing" her daughter Sarah, who was born say 1650. Elizabeth (Wilder) Ensign was still living 1 November 1676, when she was "approued by the court" as one of the executors of [her son] John Ensigne, deceased, but dead by 19 November 1686 [deed of Thomas Shepard].
