Elizabeth Towles (age 78) stated:
That she is the widow of Henry Towles, who served as a soldier of the Revolution
That she was married to Henry Towles on 27 July 1776 by Parson Harrison
That Henry Towles died on the 10th day of January 1829 and she has remained a widow
29 July 1837, Madison County, Virginia
Mrs. Ann Terrill, 77, testified that she was at the wedding of Henry Towles and her sister, formerly Elizabeth Weatherall, which took place in July 1776
Pension granted
Certification dated 28 Apr 1851, that the widow, Elizabeth Towles, died in the fall of the year 1846
