Elizabeth Walby was baptised on 12th November 1782 at Tewin in Hertfordshire, daughter of Charity Walby (who maiden name was also Walby) and her husband George Walby. Sadly, Elizabeth's mother died the following May, and baby Elizabeth only survived her mother by about six weeks, being buried at Tewin on 15th July 1783. She was probably about eight months old.
