[per User:JimBartlett (moved from Person:Catherine Unknown (893): This church records prove that Thomas had a wife Elizabeth in 1729. There are no more BARTLETT birth records in this book, but Thomas Jr was born in the next few years. The 1767 Will of Thomas BARTLETT lists his wife as Catherine, and names children including James and Anne. Clearly Catherine is a second wife. Sons John and Thomas had daughters named Elizabeth, neither had any daughter Catherine. Youngest son of Thomas Sr, was Elisha, who stayed in Richmond Co, VA while the older boys moved away. Elisha named a daughter Catherine, so it is assumed that Elizabeth died and Thomas remarried Catherine c1740 before Elisha was born. The mother of Thomas Jr b c1733 was Elizabeth.]
