10 May 1895.
Mrs. Mary Dunn, wife of Reece Dunn, died Monday in this city. The funeral services occurred Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Elder A. Atwater, who read the following sketch during the services: Mary J. Fleming was born in Clark county, Ind., July 10, 1845. She was the second of the four children of John M. and Elizabeth Fleming. . . . Her father, John M. Fleming, died in Clark county in the year 1850, when she was but a child, but her mother removing to this place lived a widow nearly forty years.
- ↑ The 1850 Census and her grave stone both suggest a birth date of about 1817; the 1860 Census suggests she may have been born in Ohio.
