Source:Jackson, Francis. History of the Early Settlement of Newton, County of Middlesex, Massachusetts, from 1639 to 1800, p. 428, says William Upham of Malden m. Elizabeth Robinson and had several children before dying 1772. A woman b. 1707 would not have been the mother of children as late as 1762 or 1764. This is confusion with the son William who married in Weston 1745 Elizabeth Gregory and moved to Newton. It was his wife that died in 1772 and he m. (2) 1774 Lydia Jackson.
