Personal History
Elizabeth Overton, (second) daughter of William Overton by Rebecca[1] (Broof), was baptized on 9 January 1779 in the parish of Bardney, Lincolnshire, England.[1]
Marriage and Family

On 24, 31 October, and 7 November 1802 in the parish of St Peter-at-Arches, city of Lincoln, banns of marriage were published for Luke Asmond of St Swithin parish and Elizabeth Overton of St Margaret[-in-the-Close] parish, and they were married in the church by the rector, F. Swan, on 29 November. The marriage was witnessed by Ann Baker (who made her mark) and Benjamin Potterton.
Death and Probate
Elizabeth Asman, wife of Luke Asman, pipe maker, then of Waterside North in the parish of St Swithin, city of Lincoln, was found drowned in the river Witham on 24 October 1850 in the same parish; the death was registered by the coroner.[2] She was buried on 26 October in the same parish.[3]
