BIOGRAPHY: Year and place of birth from 1920 census: (age 49 = 1870) Year of birth (1870) is per Douglas W. Knight - my father Naturalized US citizen per 1920 census Came to USA in 1907 per 1920 census

Timeline discrepancy in the Morrison branch - possible generation skipped? Her death certificate gave her birth date and birthplace, names of her parents, and death date and place (of course). Informant was her son Harold Stanley KNIGHT.

She resided at 59 Nicholson Street, Rochester, NY. My parents have a photograph of the house.

The beloved "Granny" for Doug and Cheryl Knight. Her house was furnished in early 1920's decoration even in the 1950's. None of these furnishings survived as neighbors notably her friend Mrs. Mack probably received some of her more valuable possessions after she went to a nursing home suffering from a stroke the rest were sold by Harold Knight. She was fond of early Fenton glass particularly hobnail. She was spiritual and loved inspirational meditations. She was good cook and loved fried foods particularly ham, eggs, and pork chops. She mowed her lawn with a hand lawn mower until her stroke. There is a video of her taken from an 8mm film in around 1951 or 1952.

Immigrated to the U.S. in 1907 (year of her marriage to Merton J. Knight). Naturalized citizen.

BURIAL: Buried in Rochester, Monroe, New York at Highland Cemetery. My dad's notes say "Lovely Granny" which may be a headstone inscription.
